The Master of Disguises:
a daydream journey of performance artist Häagen Saab

by Kerry Phillips & David Leroi

Hero and master of disguises, Häagen Saab, is about to embark on his most important and largest performance to date.

This night is crucial.
Tonight the renowned New York curator, Clyde Darkweather, will be present and, as usual, a shepherd surrounded by the art elite. Häagen must do everything he can to speak with him amongst his inner circle.

But something goes terribly wrong. Nothing makes sense and his whole life, up to this moment, seems entirely disconnected from who he currently is. The upside-down reality of dreams will be his everyday waking nightmare ... or, could this be just another brilliant performance?

Who is Häagen Saab?
Originally from Clarksville, TN, Häagen Saab is a young emerging performance artist living and working in Miami. Ever since his initial attempts at performance he has used the Spiderman suit as a visual signature. His first, and widely noted, performance was staged a few years ago during Art Basel Miami Beach. Suited in his superhero outfit he hitchhiked along the Miami Beach Convention Center holding a sign. On that sign, a single word: Fame. Since then, that is truly the direction his promising young career is headed.
